It is a great honour and pleasure to announce the International Symposium on Pufferfish held on 13-14 October 2017, in Bodrum, Turkey.
Hundereds of new alien species have been encountered in the coastal environments of the Mediterranean Sea in recent decades, including the poisonous pufferfish. The invasion of pufferfish species has caused huge damage to the marine ecosystem in the Mediterranean, while there is a lack of basic knowledge of monitoring methodology, specific life characteristics of pufferfish species and risk assessments. Therefore this workshop aims to get together scientist, fishermen, policy makers and other stakeholders to utilize effect of pufferfish species in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Symposium will focus on anything matter concerning pufferfish (Tetraodontidae) species.
The Symposium will bring together leading scientists in the domain of interest from all over the world.
Accepted papers and abstracts presented in the International Symposium on Pufferfish will be published in the indexed journal Natural and Engineering Sciences (NESciences) (http://www.nesciences.com).
