Abstract
Fourty-two fishes of the Fistularia commersonii species were caught with trawl hauls in İskenderun Bay on 21st December, 2017. One of the fish caught during the investigation was a female with 116.5 cm long in total length, 1291.88 g. in total weight. These measurements make F. commersonii the largest fish to have been collected in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, so far.
